Every single relationship I've personally been in and/or friendship that didn't last, was because at some point one or both of us went to bed too many times mad.
There's a spiritual truth to this and just about every other part of our life coincides with this as well. The longer you let a problem linger and continue to go on between you and another individual without reconciling, atoning, and forgiving one another, you grieve the holy spirit and give way for the dividing forces to enter.
Growing, no matter our religion, we knew to pray. I've had conversations with numerous criminals who have now turned their lives around tell me, "I ALWAYS PRAYED. I never would go to bed without asking God to forgive me."
This idea of asking for continual forgiveness puts one in position to also have to give what their asking God for as well. When refuse to forgive and forget or pardon others for the wrongs they have done we hold ourselves hostage from the blessings God has for us.
One way to help sure up your relationships to be long lasting is to not go to bed angry or upset with your mate! Put your E.G.O. (Edging God Out) to the side and do what's morally & spiritually correct!
Until next time...
