Pay for the legal and accounting fees it takes to get your business paperwork together. It will be well worth it to be proactive versus being reactive. It will also save you a lot of unneeded confusion and back and forth.
If people don't want to agree with your paperwork, don't do business with them unless you can make some small client specific adjustments that both parties agree to. There are already enough things that can go wrong with paperwork, so imagine what can go wrong without it.
